SUNDAY 18TH MARCH 2012

Perth City Swim Club will be holding a trial for new swimmers on Sunday, 18th March 2012, at 8 am in Perth Leisure Pool.

Swimmers should be between the ages of 6 – 10 years (inclusive). They should be able to manage a minimum of one length each of front and back crawl plus breaststroke, and be able to at least try an attempt at butterfly.  Alternatively any swimmers older than 10 years, who are currently training with another club, but would like to consider a move to Perth City, are also welcome to come along and try out.

Swimmers should wear a swimming costume/trunks and bring goggles. They should also bring a spare towel to the pool side, as it gets very cold between each swim.  Swimmers will be told by our Head Coach on the morning of the trials, if they have been successful or not.

Please be aware and understand that Perth City Swim Club are a competitive swimming club and all swimmers will be expected to provide commitment to regular training and as they progress within the club, are expected to follow their Coach’s advice about competitions they should enter as they progress through the Club.

The Club will shortly be placing an order for new teamwear, including embroidered polo shirts for officials and swimmers, and tracksuits. The polo shirts can be seen on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights for the next 2 weeks to check sizes, and the tracksuits will be similarly available to view very shortly.

The first gala for this years league is on Sat 4th February. Please check the club noticeboard to see if you have been selected for team.
